Cyber Security Exercises in Delaware - Request for All Sector Participation

The Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Security at the University of Texas San Antonio (CIAS) is looking for public and private sector executive management to participate in the Cyber Security Table Top II Exercise being held April 22 in Wilmington and March 31 in Dover. CIAS is requesting representation from City/County/State Government, Industry, Law Enforcement, Emergency Services, Internet Service Providers and Telecommunications, and DTI expects support from the Governor’s office.

Participation is limited to just 60 participants, who will work together in groups of 10 to analyze and solve cyber security issues. Participants will be left with a greater level of understanding of the growing threats that cyber security poses to our critical infrastructure, and with executive level knowledge of threat response and control options.

This exercise is the second segment of a four phase program. A state exercise will be held following completion of this exercise, and CIAS expects that Delaware will participate in the September 2010 national Cyber Storm III exercise.
